The only constant through my labyrinthian professional life has been that, in most cases, I am a visual artist. I am principally a painter but I have also worked in multiple mediums from paint through digital art, photography, sculpture, installation, animated film and video. I tend to draw inspiration from physical phenomena and the tiny particulars of existence that can reveal or illuminate the mystery of conscious life. Sometimes I simply dwell on or celebrate the mundane, and often I'm driven to do art because I am supposed to be doing something else. I was born and raised in the Ohio Valley but have lived in Colorado a significant part of of my adult life and have, at least since 1973, considered myself a western artist.
