VOLUNTEER WAIVER OF LIABILITY AGREEMENT
I hereby acknowledge that I am voluntarily offering my services as a volunteer for Chili, Booze & Brews (the “Event”), scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 4180 Wynkoop St., and travel included in between. In consideration for the privilege of volunteering at the Event, I hereby agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this waiver of liability agreement.
1. Assumption of Risk: I understand that volunteering for the Event may involve certain risks, including but not limited to, the risk of injury, illness, damage to property, and death. I acknowledge that I am voluntarily offering my services as a volunteer with full knowledge and understanding of the inherent risks involved in the Event.
2. Release of Liability: In consideration for my volunteer service at the Event, I hereby release and discharge on behalf of myself, my employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns, all Event host participants including without limitation The Morgan Adams Foundation, and its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, sponsors, and agents (collectively referred to as “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action, whether at law or in equity, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may occur as a result of my volunteer services at the Event.
3. Waiver of Claims: I waive any and all claims, whether arising from negligence or otherwise, against the Released Parties for any injury, illness, damage, loss, harm or death, that may occur to me or my property during the course of my volunteer services at the Event.
4. Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, actions, suits, or proceedings, as well as any costs, expenses, or liabilities incurred by the Released Parties, arising out of or in connection with my volunteer services at the Event.
5. Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado.
