Ways You Can Give

A cure for pediatric cancer begins with you. Through The Morgan Adams Foundation, your donations save lives – and there are so many ways you can be a part of funding a cure for pediatric cancer!

The Steven Adams Memorial Endowment Fund

This is a restricted fund created in memory of Steven Adams to help continue the legacy of The Morgan Adams Foundation. Funds donated to this account will not be allocated to research, but will help to keep the dream of Steven Adams and Joan Slaughter alive and well. Information and online donations can be made at morganadamsfoundation.org (when making a donation, please select the "Steven Adams Memorial Endowment Fund" from the drop-down menu).

Honorary Gifts

Give the gift of hope by honoring someone today. Donations can be made in honor of a loved one to help celebrate any number of occasions. Births and birthdays, anniversaries and graduations are all wonderful opportunities to honor a loved one and make them a part of the cure for pediatric cancer.

Tribute Gifts

Remember someone who has passed away by giving a child hope for the future. Gifts made in memory of a loved one provide a special tribute to their life. Tribute gifts made to The Morgan Adams Foundation will help us fund much needed research for pediatric cancer patients. Through permanent Tribute Funds, great achievements in research can be made in the name of a loved one.

Current MAF Tribute Funds:

  • Neal Carmine Fund
  • Brett Derosier Memorial Fund
  • "Will Power" - The Will Haight Fund
  • Madison Salani Fund
  • Christopher J. Tanko Fund

Specific Use Funds:

Ariana Samaras Research Fund for Diffuse Pontine Gliomas – On January 3, 2007, the parents of Ariana "Ani" Samaras witnessed their beloved 4 year old daughter succumb to an inoperable, incurable brain tumor called a "diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma." A DIPG tumor remains a 100% fatal diagnosis to this day. Ani's family wants to see that change. To honor her battle, they started The Ariana Samaras DIPG Research Fund and the money contributed goes to furthering the research into finding a way to make DIPGs a thing of the past.

Workplace Giving

Employees are often looking for the opportunity to make a contribution to the community. Workplace fundraising forges a greater bond among employees as they work together to benefit the charity of their choice. There are numerous ways companies and their employees can begin Workplace Giving Campaigns.

  • Matching Gifts
Visit your human resources department to find out if your employer matches charitable donations. Matching programs will allow you to double the impact of your gift.
  • Income Designation
Many companies give their employees the opportunity to designate a portion of their income to a non-profit organization. At the employee's request, the deduction is taken directly from a paycheck. The donation can be made each pay period or in one sum donation.
