Morgan Adams Foundation Concours d' Elegance

The Morgan Adams Concours d’Elegance is an aircraft and automobile preview with silent and live travel-related auction components. The event brings together some of the finest vintage and exceptionally-crafted modern aircraft and automobiles in the Rocky Mountain Region for an evening of viewing. The list of attractions at this event boasts one-of-a kind vintage vehicles, one-off-assembly automobiles as well as custom private jets and extraordinary vintage aircraft.

The money from this event is dedicated to children’s cancer research and the 2004 funds will be directed primarily to The Morgan Adams Neuro-Oncology Research Fund at The Children's Hospital in Denver.

artma

artma is an art auction which hosts art of all media in an auction setting for sale to the general public. The art is donated outright by local, regional and national artists, who attend the event and assist in representing their work to the guests of the event. The fantastic regional art collection comes together at the event to help support childhood cancer research and to remember Morgan Adams and all children fighting this disease.

artma has been held three times, beginning in February 2001. It has grossed $424,574.00 and netted $328,779.38, and at a 23 % cost-of-event, artma boasts a remarkably low expense ratio given non-profit charitable special events standards.

The artma collection

Artists of all media from throughout the Western States Region and across the country contribute original pieces of work to be auctioned off to raise money for pediatric cancer research.

Collection objectives:

To bring together samples of the best local, regional and national art for a spectacular collection;

To present the represented art community in the best possible light so as to encourage both strong bidding at the event and to facilitate post-event sales directly from the artists or their gallery representatives;

To rotate the collection each year to provide a fresh and exciting experience for artists and event guests.
